All plans on this website and their blueprints are protected by copyright laws. You cannot build or modify these house plans unless you first purchase the construction drawings. Each set of drawings comes with a construction license that allows you to legally build or modify the plan one time.
Anyone who builds a house or modifies a house plan without purchasing the construction drawings is in violation of copyright law. Lifestyle Home Collection is extremely diligent in its efforts to protect its clients and designers against copyright infringement. The violation of copyright laws can result in penalties of up to $100,000 per violation, in addition to court costs. The construction license that comes with the plan allows you to make changes to that plan. These changes can be made by another designer/architect, or can be made by Lifestyle Home Collection per your request. Lifestyle Home Collection accepts no responsibility or liability for plans that are modified by others.
You can only make copies of a Reproducible Vellum. Making copies of blueprints is a violation of copyright law. Please order the number of blueprint sets that you will need. We recommend that you order at least 8 sets so that you have enough to give to your multiple contractors, lending institution, building department, etc. And, of course, you’ll want to keep one for yourself. Additional sets of blueprints may be purchased individually for up to 30 days after your original purchase.
Purchase of a plan gives you legal permission to build that home or a modified version of it ONE time. If you would like to build multiple homes from the same plan, you will need to purchase additional construction licenses.
